If your passion is animation and you love to explore the dark side of fantasy, you are about to enter a world of unique possibilities.
The FANTASMATICA call for Latin American short films of fantasy and horror genre is now accepting projects until August 29th.
FANTASMATICA fuses the creativity and magic of animation with the intensity of the fantasy and horror genre – an opportunity for horror-loving animators to showcase their projects and promote them in international markets!
It is looking for Latino projects with a maximum duration of 25 minutes and that are in development or pre-production stage.
Participants can register their project only by completing an online registration form and providing a video pitch that gives a deeper insight into their project.
All finalists will participate in one-on-one mentoring with industry experts who will nurture their projects with experience and knowledge that will guide them in refining their projects. At the same time, they will be encouraged to network with other members of the industry, creating a network of professionals and creative minds.
In addition, the finalist short films will be part of the official selection of FANTASMATICA and will be seen by expert critics and film lovers from all over the world.
In addition, the winning project will receive an accreditation, board and lodging to be presented at the prestigious WEIRD Animation Video Games & New Media Market event in Spain. This will provide a global platform for creators to share their visions and connect with industry professionals, gaining visibility and recognition in the industry.
