New Federal Contest for the Development of Argentine Animation Short Films

The National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) has announced the launch of the Federal Competition for the Development of Animation Short Films 2023, with an open call until October 2.

The animation industry has become a fundamental pillar of the audiovisual sector, driven by the boom in interactive and digital content. This genre has gained international recognition, highlighting the talent of professionals, technicians and companies dedicated to animation.

The objective of the Federal Competition for the Development of Animation Short Films 2023 is to foster the growth and strengthening of this industry, with the vision of establishing a solid presence of animation at the national level, embracing a federal and gender perspective. This process has been developing since the creation of the career of Integral Realization with Specialization in 3D Animation and Digital Technologies at the National School of Cinematographic Experimentation and Realization (ENERC).

These actions seek to join efforts to promote animation in Argentina, recognizing its potential both locally and internationally and contributing to the economic and cultural growth of the country.
