2018 Edition

Latin American animation continues to arouse great interest in new territories and markets. At Animation!, our goal is to accompany that movement by opening new paths and removing obstacles.

Consolidating the alliance with the MIFA Market at Annecy International Animated Film Festival, the most important of its kind in the world, there was a selection of projects in development for Latin American feature films and TV series which were presented in Animation! Pitching Sessions.

For third consecutive year, we made available a program of activities that allowed professionals from the region to access new international markets, as well as to receive advice to build strategic partnerships.

The Work in Progress program for animated feature films Animation! WIPs by Annecy focused on an exclusive selection of Latin American productions soon to be finished.

The Animation! Training Sessions, led by international experts, addressed specific topics regarding project sales and global trends. They also provided keys to build a solid and successful business model.

The program was completed with networking activities and presentations given by special guests. Key players in content development provided participants with feedback and joined us in the search for creative potential in the region.

Animation! is a global business space for Latin American animation projecting out into the world.
