The Mentoring Program for Female Creators took place between January and March 2023. The selection committee integrated by Delphine Nicolini and Christophe Erbes has chosen the 5 finalist projects among the 203 submitted in Animation! 2022 call, with a woman in the direction role.
The mentors, Eloa Sahiry, Irene Weibel and Carlos Bleycher worked along with the directors and their teams and succeeded to improve their video pitches and presentations significantly.
The program closed on March 15th with the announcement of the selected project to be presented at MIFA / Annecy 2023: “Kale´s Museum Of Spookiness” from the Brazilian director Lena Franzz.
In addition, thanks to an extra support given by Annecy, there was a special mention to a project whose director will receive a complimentary accreditation to take part at MIFA 2023. The project is “Kolaval” from the Mexican director Karla Velazquez.
